Sichuan Meifeng Technology Achieves Successful First Startup Author/Source: Sichuan Meifeng Date: 2021-09-08 Clicks: 20 At 18:00 on August 25, the first furnace of Sichuan Meifeng Technology Company was ignited and heated, marking the start of the startup phase following the annual plant maintenance. Starting from the shutdown of the compound fertilizer production unit at 1:15 on August 9, each unit was shut down safely, in an environmentally responsible manner, and stably, in accordance with the planned schedule. The entire maintenance process lasted 18 days. To ensure that this maintenance work was completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards, all departments and workshops within the company paid close attention to it; personnel were properly organized, shutdown and restart plans were thoroughly prepared, and staff received adequate training, all of which helped to guarantee a safe and environmentally sound process during shutdown and restart. On August 25 at 18:00, the furnace in Unit 1 of the ammonia synthesis plant was started up. On August 27 at 18:18, the urea production plant began operating as planned. On August 28 at 17:25, the ammonia oxidation furnace in the nitric acid plant was started up; at 20:00, the **neutralizer began operating. On August 29 at 17:46, the triamine reactor started up, and at 21:30, the feed line for the southern tower of the compound fertilizer plant came online. Thus, all processes in the plants within the park were operational again, achieving a successful start-up with no safety or environmental issues.
