Author/Source: Yihua Group Date: 2022-03-19 Clicks: 30 On March 17, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region held a ceremony to mark the resumption of work on key projects for the first quarter of 2022. The 80,000-ton melamine project at Xinjiang Yihua and the \"integration of power generation, transmission, distribution, load, and storage\" demonstration project participated in the ceremony at the Changji Prefecture venue. “During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Xinjiang Yihua plans to invest 20 billion yuan in building projects for coal-based chemical new materials and fine chemicals. The 80,000-ton melamine project is part of the first phase of these initiatives; the total investment for this phase is 1.2 billion yuan. Once completed and operational, the project will generate an annual output value of 500 million yuan and profits and taxes amounting to 220 million yuan. The \"integration of power generation, transmission, distribution, and energy storage\" demonstration project in Zhundong, Xinjiang Yihua, was proposed and implemented jointly by Xinjiang Yihua, together with China Energy Conservation and Solar Energy Corporation and Datang Xinjiang Power Generation Company. Utilizing the undeveloped mining land owned by Xinjiang Yihua, this project plans to build a 420MW photovoltaic power generation facility, along with associated step-up substations and energy storage stations. The total investment in the project is 1.69 billion yuan, with a land area of approximately 13,000 mu. Once completed, it will be able to generate around 700 million kWh of green electricity per year, saving about 260,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 480,000 tons.
