Recently, in order to ensure proper implementation of the corrective actions recommended as a result of the central environmental inspection, Hebei Province has initiated random quality inspections on coal supplied to Xingtai, prohibiting the entry of low-quality coal into this city. At present, Xingtai has completed the standardization of the coal quality inspection station at Nanshimen in Xingtai County, which serves as the entry point for coal into the province. All activities related to stopping coal transport vehicles, conducting inspections, allowing them to proceed, asking them to turn back, taking samples, sending them for testing, and recording the results of these inspections are all documented in detail. “The checkpoint is located on the route that coal transport vehicles must take to enter Xingtai from Shanxi; it is used primarily to regulate coal coming from Shaanxi and Shanxi, thereby preventing low-quality bulk coal from entering our province. ”Wu Zhenbing, deputy director of the Xingtai County Market Regulation Bureau, said. Coal transport vehicles whose destination is confirmed to be Hebei Province and whose documents are in order are released after random coal sample testing ； Coal transport vehicles destined for our province but lacking complete documentation are persuaded to turn back. Coal samples taken from the released vehicles must be sent for testing within 24 hours. The testing agency shall issue the test report within 2 days of receiving the samples and send it to the sampling site; once the site receives the report, it must deliver it to the local air quality management office within 24 hours, which in turn will inform the air quality management office at the destination of delivery.
