Date: April 24, 2022 Clicks: 7 In the first quarter, Harbin Boiler focused on preventing and controlling the pandemic while simultaneously accelerating its efforts in innovation and transformation in order to expand its market presence. It made new breakthroughs in various sectors such as power station boilers, industrial boilers, petrochemical containers, the environmental protection industry, power station upgrades, preheaters, and new industrial fields, achieving a successful start to the year and providing impetus for high-quality development through transformation and upgrading. Leading the industry: further achievements in the field of secondary reheating. In the first quarter, Harbin Electric Boilers successfully secured a contract for the super-supercritical secondary reheating boilers and denitration equipment for the 2×660MW units at Datang Chuzhou Power Plant. This project is an integrated wind, solar, thermal, and storage project planned by Anhui Province, and it is also Datang Group’s first 660MW ultra-supercritical secondary reheating project. The project achieves the bundled transmission and joint operation of coal-fired power and renewable energy power generation through a smart energy management and control system-based coordinated scheduling approach, thereby maximizing the utilization of clean energy, improving the level of clean energy use and the operational efficiency of the power system. It holds great significance for advancing the achievement of the goals of \"carbon peak\" and \"carbon neutrality\". The signing of this project has led to renewed friendly cooperation between Harbin Electric Boilers and Datang Group, and it also demonstrates the high level of recognition by the customer for the quality of Harbin Electric Boilers’ secondary reheating boilers, their technical capabilities, as well as the quality of their project services. Steady progress: The industrial boiler market continues to see positive developments. In the first quarter, Harbin Electric Boiler successfully secured contracts for a total of 10 industrial boilers, including the 4×440 t/h pulverized coal boiler project for Yizheng Chemical Fiber in Yangzhou, Jiangsu; the 1×135 MW gas boiler project for Liuzhou Iron and Steel in Guangxi; the 2×230 t/h boiler project for Sinopec at Tianjin Nangang; the 1×260 t/h gas boiler project for Fujian Longgang; and the 1×410 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler project along with a 1×220 t/h gas boiler project for Yunnan Tian’an Chemical Industry. In addition, Harbin Electric Boilers also won bids for the 2×480t/h coal-fired boiler project at Shandong Hualu Hengsheng, as well as the 1×330t/h gas-fired boiler project for the third phase of Jinan Iron and Steel Group. Deepening cooperation to promote the orderly development of the nuclear pressure vessel market: In the first quarter, Harbin Electric Boilers successfully secured contracts for 14 high-pressure steam drums for the ethylene plant’s cracking furnaces at Shandong Yulong Petrochemical; 8 four-effect and 8 five-effect heating chamber units for the Boyuan Alxa lignin natural alkali project; 2 header sets for the CGN San’ao conventional island project; and 5 waste heat recovers, 20 gasifiers, along with related equipment for the Hubei JinKong project. In addition, Harbin Electric Boilers also won bids for a waste heat boiler project for Inner Mongolia Tianrun Fertilizer Co., Ltd., as well as a second-stage waste heat boiler project for Inner Mongolia Ordos Chemical Industry. Through diversified development, the environmental protection market has seen new breakthroughs. In the first quarter, Harbin Electric Boilers overcame the impact of the pandemic; with close cooperation among various departments such as marketing and technology, it successfully secured a contract for the construction of a leachate treatment system for the expansion project of the Leidashi Environmental Protection Power Plant in Shantou. The Leidashi Environmental Protection Power Plant in Shantou has a waste incineration capacity of 1,500 tons per day. It is the first waste-to-energy plant in the urban area of Shantou City, Guangdong Province. It constitutes an important part of the Leidashi Ecological Environmental Protection Industrial Park, and it is also the first waste-to-energy project in eastern Guangdong with a capacity of over 1,000 tons per day. It plays a significant role in promoting sustainable economic, environmental, and social development in this region. The successful signing of this project marks a \"zero\" breakthrough for Harbin Electric Boilers in the field of leachate treatment for waste-to-energy plants, laying a solid foundation for future market development. Seizing opportunities, the market for boiler upgrades has reached new heights. With the introduction of the \"dual carbon\" goals and the implementation of the \"three-pronged reform\" strategy, Harbin Electric Boilers has encountered opportunities in this field of upgrades, achieving breakthroughs in areas such as improving the flexibility of boilers for peak load management and enhancing the performance of their heating surfaces. In the first quarter, Harbin Electric Boilers successfully secured contracts for multiple projects, including the flexibility peak-shaving renovation of the Montai Phase II boilers, the upgrade of high-temperature heating surfaces in Hequ, the renovation of burners at Xisai Mountain, and the upgrade of heating surfaces in Gujiao. Among them, the contract for the deep peak-shaving renovation of the 2×660MW boilers at Mengte Phase II Beiyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. represents the first systematic deep peak-shaving renovation project carried out by Harbin Electric Boiler Co., Ltd. It covers almost all the technical solutions required for such flexibility renovations, serving as an excellent example of successful implementation; at the same time, it provides valuable experience for subsequent flexibility renovation projects. Progressing against the odds: Breakthroughs achieved in the development of the preheater market. In the retrofitting and metallurgical markets, Harbin Electric Boiler has earned recognition from customers thanks to its solid reputation, superior product quality, and excellent after-sales service. Consequently, it successfully won the bid for the anti-blocking technical renovation project of the air preheater for Unit 2 at Wuhu Company, as well as the GGH project in Yangzhou undertaken by Fangyuan. Among them, the Yangzhou Fangyuan GGH project is the first large-scale project that Harbin Electric Boilers has won a contract for in the GGH sector in recent years. It marks a breakthrough of \"zero\" for large-scale GGH equipment in this region, further strengthening the company’s brand image and laying a solid foundation for expanding into related markets in the future. Facilitating transformation: Multiple new industrial markets are flourishing. In the new product market, Harbin Electric Boiler successfully signed four supply contracts, namely for the concentrated salt solution evaporation and pyrolysis furnace (Phase I) project of Hebei Jicheng New Materials Co., Ltd., the turnkey project for the calcination furnace, the turnkey project for concentrated salt solution treatment, and the 14 t/h vertical rapid cooler (waste heat boiler) for the Zhongsheng Anhui Huatai project. Among them, the signing of the three projects with Hebei Jicheng represents a deeper level of cooperation between Harbin Electric Boilers and its clients, following the acquisition of multiple orders in areas such as waste heat recovery in steel mills and the chemical industry from Yanshan Iron and Steel Group and its affiliated companies. This underscores the clients’ recognition of Harbin Electric Boilers’ overall capabilities.
