On July 1, Zhongan United held a mobilization meeting for the overhaul of coal chemical plants. Shi Huabiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the company, General Manager, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the coal chemical subsidiary, delivered a motivational speech and presented flags to the representatives of the Party member task forces for major repairs, the problem-solving teams, the service teams, and the youth task forces. Li Taiqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager of the company, presided over the meeting. Jiang Yong, the deputy general manager of the company and the general manager of the Coal Chemicals Branch, represented the main overhaul command center and signed a \"mission order\" with the representatives of the sub-command centers. A representative from the major repair contractor, Yangzi Inspection and Safety Huainan Branch, delivered a statement. The leadership teams of the company, its branches, and the project management department, as well as the deputy chief engineers and key experts, the heads of various departments, representatives from all parties involved in the inspection, and relevant personnel attended the meeting. Since the coal chemical plant of the company began operating at full capacity in July 2019, after completing the entire production process, it has been in operation at full capacity for nearly 3 years, during which time the number of unstable and unsafe factors has gradually increased. In accordance with the company’s annual work plan, it is planned to initiate maintenance work on all 21 production units across the plant, starting with the shutdown of the MTO unit at the end of July. There are 3,166 maintenance tasks in total, including 2 key projects at the branch level. At the same time, related energy-saving optimization measures and minor technical improvement projects will also be carried out. The overall timeline is set as 35 days for coal-to-methanol processes and 45 days for methanol-to-olefins processes.
