Ceremony for the commencement of construction of Shanxi Longxing Carbon-Based New Materials Circular Economy Industry Project held Author/Source: Huahua Net Coal Chemicals Date: 2022-07-04 Clicks: 16 On the morning of June 30, a ceremony was held to mark the start of construction of the Shanxi Longxing Carbon-Based New Materials Circular Economy Industry Project. The carbon-based new materials circular economy industry project of Longxing Chemical Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 3.1 billion yuan, has been established in the Lucheng Economic Development Zone of Changzhi, Shanxi. On April 14, the project was registered; its project code is 2204-140465-89-01-197442. The project involves the construction of 6 production lines capable of producing 400,000 tons per year of high-purity nanosilica black, along with 2 sets of ultra-high temperature and pressure efficient steam power generation units with a capacity of 35 MW each. Purchase production and auxiliary equipment such as reaction reactors, granulators, dryers, high-temperature air preheaters, boilers, steam turbines, and engines; establish science and technology R&D centers, smart control centers, as well as environmental protection facilities for wastewater treatment, desulfurization, and denitrification. The Shanxi Longxing Carbon-Based New Materials Circular Economy Industrial Project is located in the Lucheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project is constructed in two phases; the first phase requires an investment of 1.6 billion yuan to build a production line for 200,000 tons of high-purity nanosilica black, a science and technology research and development and smart control center, steam power generation facilities, as well as various public and auxiliary facilities. An investment of 1.5 billion yuan is planned to fund the construction of a production line for 200,000 tons of high-purity nanosilica black, steam power generation units and auxiliary facilities, as well as facilities for modifying raw materials and developing new resources, and facilities for green carbon-reduction cycles.
