Through strategic restructuring and specialized integration, by concentrating key industries and high-quality resources, Yunnan Province Energy Group will develop new competitive capabilities and advantages across the entire energy industry chain. It will serve as a stabilizer for the province’s energy supply and a driving force behind the development of the energy industry, thereby contributing better to the advancement of the “three major economic initiatives,” the “five modernization efforts,” and the construction of a modern industrial system based on green electricity and advanced manufacturing – all in order to promote high-quality economic and social development in the region. Yunnan Energy Group will focus on becoming a first-class green energy enterprise in the country as well as a key energy enterprise in Yunnan Province worth hundreds of billions. It will continue to strengthen the \"8+X\" core sectors within its main energy business, accelerate the development of integration across wind, solar, hydro, thermal power, and energy storage, as well as between power generation, transmission networks, load management, and energy storage; it will also work to improve six aspects: the overall scale of energy production, resource reserves and output levels, system regulation capabilities, integration capabilities, the synergy between industry and finance, and strategic organizational capabilities.
