Jiangxi’s 20,000-ton lithium hexafluorophosphate project phase II approved for environmental assessment 2025-11-18 Recently, the Jingdezhen Environmental Protection Bureau issued a decision regarding the environmental impact assessment report for Jiangxi Fuli New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s new energy project aimed at producing 50,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate per year (phase II). The details of the project are as follows: Project name: New energy project for producing 50,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate per year (phase II)； Construction unit: Jiangxi Fuli New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Tasan Industrial Park, Leping Industrial Park, Jiangxi ； Project investment: 1.2 billion yuan ； Project nature: Renovation and expansion ； Construction scale and content: 1. Using purchased yellow phosphorus and liquid chlorine as raw materials, phosphorus trichloride is obtained through processes such as melting, chlorination, and distillation ； 2. Using self-produced phosphorus trichloride and purchased liquid chlorine as raw materials, phosphorus pentachloride is obtained through processes such as chlorination ； 3. Using self-produced phosphorus pentachloride and commercially purchased hydrofluoric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, and lithium fluoride as the main raw materials, lithium hexafluorophosphate is produced through fluorination, preparation, synthesis, concentration, centrifugation, hydrolysis, and drying. Upon completion of the project, the production capacity will be as follows: 20,000 tons per year of phosphorus pentachloride and 20,000 tons per year of lithium hexafluorophosphate; while the by-products will be 28,875.05 tons per year of ordinary hydrochloric acid and 56,000 tons per year of electronic-grade hydrochloric acid.
