On March 13, the Weihai Ecology and Environment Bureau accepted the expansion project for high-end fluorine-based fine chemicals carried out by Weihai Xinyuan New Materials Co., Ltd., and made it public. The details of the project are as follows: Image Project name: Expansion project for high-end fluorine-based fine chemicals； Construction unit: Weihai Xinyuan New Materials Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Within the existing factory complex of Weihai Xinyuan New Materials Co., Ltd., in Wendeng Chemical Industry Park, Weihai City, Shandong Province ； Project nature: Expansion ； Investment amount: 400 million yuan ； Construction contents: This project utilizes the existing constructed area of 27,922.61 square meters, with an additional 8,491.41 square meters of new construction. It makes use of the existing five workshops, outdoor facilities, and associated control rooms and switchgear rooms. Additionally, a new Workshop No. 1 along with outdoor facilities, a circulating cooling water system, and a refrigeration system will be constructed. In the filling room, a new trifluoroethylamine filling production line will be added. In the tank farm, two trifluoroethanol storage tanks, one trifluoropropene storage tank, one chlorodifluoroethane storage tank, and one trichloroethylene storage tank will be installed. Other utility and auxiliary projects will rely on the company’s existing infrastructure.
