In 2026, the 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" will focus on the importance of safety for everyone and the need for everyone to know how to respond in emergency situations, as well as on identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards. On June 5th, the Bengbu Natural Resources and Planning Bureau officially released the planning details for Anhui Fluoroxing’s expansion project, which aims to increase production by 40,000 tons per year of chemically pure hydrofluoric acid and 55,000 tons per year of etching solutions. This marks the beginning of the public consultation phase for the environmental impact assessment of this expansion project. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Expansion project of Anhui Fluorostar Chemical Co., Ltd. to increase annual production capacity to 40,000 tons of chemically pure hydrofluoric acid and 55,000 tons of etching solution. Project owner: Anhui Fluorostar Chemical Co., Ltd. Location: Mohe Kou Chemical Industrial Park, HuaiShang District, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. Nature of the project: Expansion and renovation. Scope of construction: Expansion based on the existing production lines with an annual capacity of 40,000 tons of chemically pure hydrofluoric acid and 45,000 tons of etching solution. Two sets of chemical-grade hydrofluoric acid production equipment and 4 mixing tanks for aqueous hydrofluoric acid have been added to the integrated workshop. Upon completion of the project, the entire plant will have an annual production capacity of 80,000 tons of chemically pure hydrofluoric acid and 100,000 tons of etching solutions.
