Recently, it was learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission that the \"Plan for Key Construction Projects in Shaanxi Province for 2018\" has been officially issued; these projects cover areas such as infrastructure, energy and chemicals, equipment manufacturing, and strategic emerging industries. Among them, there are 207 projects under continuation, with an annual investment of 272.7249 billion yuan ； 96 new projects were launched, with an annual investment of 87.4808 billion yuan ； There were 133 projects in the early stage, with a total investment of 1,168.28701 billion yuan. Among the 96 new projects under construction, 11 are related to the development of infrastructure capabilities, including projects such as the high-speed rail line from Xi’an to Yan’an, Xi’an Metro Line 1 (Phase 3), Xi’an Metro Line 14, Xi’an Metro Line 8, and the highway from Xunyi to Fengxiang ； There are 10 development projects in the field of energy and chemical industries, including projects such as Yanchang Petroleum Group’s oil and gas exploration and development activities, the Shaanxi Coal Yushen High-Efficiency Coal Conversion Industrial Park (Phase I), follow-up projects for Yulin coal indirect liquefaction (Phase I), and Yanchang Petroleum’s coal-to-aromatics and olefins project along with integrated coal mining facilities (Phase I) ； There are 9 projects aimed at enhancing advanced equipment manufacturing capabilities, including the new energy vehicle production base in Weinan High-Tech Zone, the Fa Streth production base in Xianyang, and the project to produce 100,000 pure electric vehicles per year in Shangluo ； There are 18 projects related to technological innovation and the development of strategic emerging industries, including those such as wind power generation in northern Shaanxi, a 100-ton nanopowder production line in Weinan, a digital manufacturing industrial base for green intelligent transformers in the Xixian New Area, and a science and technology park for new energy electric vehicles in Hancheng. At present, the first batch of key projects for 2018 in southern Shaanxi, the cities of Guanzhong, and Yan’an have all commenced construction, while 138 new projects in Yulin are set to start construction on a substantive basis by the end of June. Among them, all 260 major projects selected in Xi’an’s first batch of initiatives to expand effective investment in 2018 have commenced construction. These projects fall into four main categories: services, industry, infrastructure, and projects related to people’s well-being. The investment in these projects was 380 billion yuan higher than that in the first batch of projects launched last year, representing a growth rate of 335%. As planned, in 2018 our province will leverage key projects to boost investment and stabilize economic growth, striving to keep the growth rate of fixed asset investment at around 10%. To accelerate the construction of key projects, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission has organized a month-long campaign for the simultaneous commencement of these projects. During the event, over 1,150 key projects were launched simultaneously in various cities (districts) across the province, creating a favorable atmosphere for project development ； Hold a symposium on the “three types of economies” and the construction of key projects, in order to better leverage the role of these key projects in the development of Shaanxi’s hub economy, portal economy, and mobile economy ； A financing meeting for provincial key construction projects in 2018 was held to meet the funding needs for such projects across the province and to enhance the capacity of financial services to support the real economy.
