The contract signing ceremony and kick-off meeting for the 2*400,000 tons/year ethylene glycol production units of Sino-New Energy Chemical’s Keqi/Fuxin peak-shaving project was successfully held. Leaders such as Wu Xiuzhang, Deputy General Manager of Datang Group and General Manager of Sino-Singapore Energy Chemicals Company; Wang Heming, Xia Junbing, and Zhao Gang, Deputy General Managers of Sino-Singapore Energy Chemicals Company; Liu Wanzhou, Deputy General Manager of both Sino-Singapore Energy Chemicals Company and Fuxin Company; Zhang Genxing, Deputy General Manager of Keqi Company; Cui Congquan, General Manager of Donghua Technology, and Li Lixin, its Deputy General Manager; Gao Chao, President of Gaohua Chemistry; and Gao Lei, General Manager of Beijing Xinggaohua Chemistry, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches. Technical and business personnel from various parties also participated in the ceremony. The leaders of Sino-New Energy Chemicals highly recognized Donghua Technology’s leading position in the domestic ethylene glycol industry, and expressed the hope that Donghua Technology would work together with patent holders and project owners, leveraging their respective strengths to achieve mutual benefit through collaboration. After the signing ceremony for the process package, project kick-off meetings were held at venues in Fengkeqi and Fuxin. The company assigned two strong project management teams to each of the two sets of installations. Niu Xiaolin, the project manager based in Keqi, and Wang Feng, the project manager based in Fuxin, led their team members in organizing and participating in the kick-off meeting discussions. During this meeting, the \"Project Coordination Procedures\", work plans and schedules, the requirements for project inputs, a list of design-related materials that needed to be prepared, as well as external conditions were established. The \"Key Project Elements and Design Responsibilities\" were defined, along with the content and scope of the overall design. In addition, the rules regarding project management were discussed in detail. The successful conclusion of the contract signing ceremony and kick-off meeting for the Sinocne Energy Keqi/Fuxin peak-shaving project marks the official entry of this project into its implementation phase. The company will fully cooperate with the project owner to ensure its smooth progress. To date, the company has undertaken the engineering design or EPC turnkey construction for twenty ethylene glycol production facilities. Five of these projects have been put into operation and are functioning well; the high-quality ethylene glycol produced is widely used in the polyester industry, resulting in good economic benefits for the owners. This has firmly established the company’s leading position in China in terms of ethylene glycol project design and construction.
