At 21:16 on May 8th, the \"buzzing\" sound generated by the startup of the nitrogen blower marked the completion of the four-day maintenance process. During the night shift on May 4, a fault occurred in the nitrogen blower of the air separation unit, causing the production system to operate at reduced capacity. The company’s management, as well as the staff in charge of processes and equipment, rushed to the scene to conduct a thorough analysis of the fault. By reviewing relevant documents and performing risk analyses, and after ruling out possibilities such as instrument failures or motor problems, the issue was identified as stemming from the hydraulic coupling. Based on the operating parameters and the conditions at the site, it was decided to remove the hydraulic coupling from the nitrogen blower for inspection. With measures taken to ensure an adequate supply of gas for the regeneration of molecular sieves in methane cryogenic separation, the production process can operate safely. Through the coordinated efforts of all parties involved, the removal and inspection of the damaged components of the nitrogen blower were completed at 14:30 on May 4th, and a procurement plan for the damaged components was promptly prepared based on the results of the inspection. The supply and marketing center also promptly sent personnel to the equipment maintenance site to assess the extent of the damage to the parts, and contacted the equipment manufacturers to inquire about the availability of those parts. To ensure that the spare parts needed for maintenance arrive in a timely manner, the Supply and Marketing Center worked tirelessly to find them through various channels. While contacting suppliers to secure the required parts, it also carried out measurements of the damaged components, so as to have an alternative option for manufacturing replacement parts in cases where the manufacturer did not have them in stock. At 14:00 on May 5th, upon receiving confirmation that the spare parts required by the equipment manufacturer were in stock, the Supply and Marketing Center promptly signed a spare parts purchase contract with the manufacturer, arranged for delivery as quickly as possible, and kept track of the shipping progress throughout the process. It also contacted SF Express’s customer service several times to find out how to receive the goods as swiftly as possible. At 07:48 on May 8, SF Express delivery vehicles arrived at Xundian Logistics Park ; At 08:45, the spare parts arrived at the maintenance site in the repair workshop. The maintenance technicians carried out precise installation based on the data obtained from disassembly and measurement, and completed the assembly work by 16:00, after which the parts were transported to the air separation unit site. With all safety measures in place, and through the coordinated efforts of electrical and instrumentation personnel, process engineers, and equipment staff who worked efficiently without chaos, the installation of the hydraulic coupling for the nitrogen blower was completed and the unit put into use at 19:00 on May 8. Tuning of the hydraulic coupling’s speed control function began at 19:16, and a full-system trial run was conducted at 21:16; currently, all process parameters are within the specified ranges.
