I would like to ask everyone about the economic issues associated with small-scale sulfur production using the Claus process – at what scale does a plant become uneconomical to operate?
Sulfur recovery is an environmental protection project; its economic viability cannot be considered regardless of the scale
That’s the thing – industrial installations are different from experimental ones; when the scale of the installation is too small, there are problems with selecting the appropriate equipment； If the unit is too small, it is entirely possible to consider avoiding the Claus process and instead using a method in which the material is sent to a boiler for combustion followed by desulfurization to produce ammonium sulfate; this approach is more favorable for investment control and operational management.
None of them take economic benefits into account. What scale do you require for construction?
