East China Technology’s project for the ethylene glycol plant at Guangxi Huayi received a perfect score in terms of digital delivery assessment. On March 18, Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. conducted an assessment of the digital delivery of construction work for various units in the industrial gas complex at Guangxi Huayi, and the ethylene glycol plant built by East China Technology was highly recognized by the client, earning a perfect score. This assessment mainly includes two aspects: digital delivery documents for construction, and the status of previous rectifications. Previously, the owner had set high requirements for the digital delivery of this project, such as requiring that the ISO drawings and the Weld Data Sheets be updated in sync with on-site construction, that the ISO drawings include weld spot numbers and accurate locations of these weld spots, that the weld spots be marked using CAD software in editable electronic files, and that the weld spot numbers on the ISO drawings correspond to those in the Weld Data Sheets. Through the close collaboration between the construction digitalization specialists on-site and the professional designers in the company’s headquarters who are responsible for pipeline design, storage, and transportation, all of the owner’s requirements regarding digital delivery were successfully met. The perfect score achieved in this assessment serves as a strong affirmation of the company’s efforts in achieving digital delivery for the ethylene glycol production project in Guangxi Huayi. It also **strengthens the project team and the company as a whole’s confidence in carrying out digital delivery and advancing digital transformation. In the future, the company will continue to utilize digital platforms to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects.
