On the afternoon of August 19, a signing ceremony was held in Yongcheng City, Henan Province, for Henan Ruibai’s project to produce 600,000 tons of acetic esters per year along with related downstream products. Li Zhonghua, Secretary of the Yongcheng City Party Committee; Gao Dali, Mayor of Yongcheng City; Liu Pintao, General Manager of Longyu Coal Chemical Industry; Zhu Bing, Chairman of Henan Ruibai New Materials Co., Ltd., among others, attended the signing ceremony. It is reported that the Henan Ruibai project, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of acetates and related products, will make full use of the basic chemical raw materials provided by Longyu Coal Chemical Industry, as well as surplus steam and hydrogen. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 5.44 billion yuan and tax revenues of 110 million yuan. Li Zhonghua said that Yongcheng regards the coal chemical industry as a core component of the new materials sector, working to improve product quality and promote industrial clustering in order to create a closed-loop industrial chain and strengthen its key industries. The implementation of Henan Ruibai’s project to produce 600,000 tons of acetates per year and its related downstream industries will help to strengthen the chemical industry chain in Yongcheng City and increase the added value of its products.
