The construction and installation of all the custom-made storage tanks for the Shanxi Xiaxin project have been completed. Author/Source: Sinochem Sixth Construction Company. Date: December 3, 2020. On November 30, the last 300-cubic-meter fusel oil storage tank (T-91103) for the project aimed at producing 300,000 tons per year of methanol along with ammonia as a by-product, part of the Shanxi Xiaxin Fine Chemicals and New Materials Recycling Project, was successfully installed. This marked the completion of the installation of all the custom-made storage tanks for this project, which was achieved 7 days ahead of schedule. The project is located in the Fine Chemicals Park in Qingxu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. It features a total of 9 custom-made storage tanks, including 2 fire water tanks with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters each, 2 storage tanks for methanol products with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters each, 2 storage tanks for crude methanol with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each, 2 tanks for methanol product testing with a capacity of 700 cubic meters each, and 1 tank for fusel oils with a capacity of 300 cubic meters. These tanks were installed using an inverted installation method. Liuhua Jian is responsible for the construction and installation work for Bid 2 and Bid 3 of the methanol project under this initiative.
