On the evening of May 9, the unshifted gas scrubber in Yueneng Chemical’s syngas treatment facility became the first device in the company to have its lighting activated fully; this scrubber has a total height of 57.06 meters and features 15 levels. Before the lighting was turned on, the Engineering Management Department coordinated with the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Center as well as the construction units to conduct a thorough and orderly safety inspection of the lighting circuits in the gas scrubber tower that had not yet been modified. The relevant personnel prepared everything needed to ensure the successful completion of the power-on process.
