The Guoneng Yulin PGA project involves the intersection of pipelines with those of the production facilities. According to Sinochem Third Construction, the project undertaken by the Second Construction and Engineering Company involves 65 pipelines in total at the intersection points between these pipelines. The parking period will end on August 10, 2021; construction will begin on August 20, with the plan to resume operation on September 1. All pipelines are located within the production facility; the working space is limited, there are many constraints, making construction difficult and the timeline short. The 50,000-ton/year polyglycolic acid demonstration project of Guoneng Yulin Chemical uses technology from Shanghai Pujing Chemical. Construction began in March 2021.
To be more precise, ground pipes are jointed pipes, while process pipes are stub pipes. :)
