Inner Mongolia Jiutai New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project for producing 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year has officially started trial production. The project entered the trial production preparation phase in May 2022. On October 12, 2022, the gasification furnace was successfully fed with material for the first time; the entire process was operational by the 16th, and the first batch of products was exported on the 20th. Jiutai New Materials Company will take the trial production of this project as a new starting point. Leveraging its strong industrial and talent advantages, it will continue to work hard, focusing on coal-based new materials and the new energy industry. It will accelerate the construction of subsequent projects in order to create a model base for green, environmentally friendly, safe, and efficient chemical manufacturing, thereby contributing to the transformation and upgrading of the regional economic structure as well as to the high-quality development of the economy.
