The molten salt heating reactor experiences salt spraying

Hello, experts. I’m seeking some advice. This post was posted in the devices section, but it might not be just a device issue; I’m posting it here again. The reactor used in the plant is of the tubular type, heated by molten salt, with forced circulation via an axial flow pump; the flow rate is 800 and the head is 4.5. The problem is that the level of the molten salt is kept low, as a higher level can easily lead to salt spraying. Does anyone know what causes this situation?
Is air coming out from the shaft of the axial flow pump?
The pump head is below the liquid level, while the part above the liquid level is connected to the atmosphere
Has water vapor or water entered the system? Molten salt will spray violently when it comes into contact with water
Our factory has the same issue; it seems that the flow rate and head of the axial flow pump do not match the molten salt operating parameters of the reactor
