On September 16, a train consisting of 57 carriages, carrying over 3,800 tons of coal, slowly entered the railway line belonging to the Fuxin company and arrived at the project site; unloading of the cargo began on the same day. The arrival of this first heavily loaded train marked the official operation of the railway line dedicated to the Datang Fuxin coal-to-natural gas project. The dedicated railway line is 10.7 kilometers in length and is connected to the Xinqiu and Baxin railways; it serves as an important link and bridge connecting the Fuxin project with the sources of coal supply and the locations where the products are sold. To ensure the smooth commissioning of the railway line, Fuxin Company has always adopted a problem-oriented approach, actively coordinating with various relevant departments as well as the Shenyang Railway Bureau to help address the issues and difficulties that hindered the operation of this dedicated railway line. On September 7th, Fuxin Railway Section organized representatives from the civil engineering section, Jinzhou electrical engineering section, locomotive section, vehicle section, freight center, as well as relevant construction units to hold a coordination meeting at Fuxin Company regarding the preparations for putting the Datang dedicated railway line into use. At this meeting, the problems identified in relation to achieving the timely opening of the railway line were discussed, and measures to resolve them along with progress updates were determined. A task list was created, and all departments worked together to overcome these challenges, ensuring that the corrective actions were completed on schedule and thus enabling the railway line to open as planned. It is reported that once this dedicated railway line is in operation, the coal required for the Fuxin coal-to-natural gas project will be transported directly to the plant via rail, thus establishing a seamless transportation route for both coal and chemical products. This greatly enhances the company’s transportation capacity and reduces the costs associated with coal transport. It ensures the safety and economic efficiency in using coal for the project, while also shortening the time needed to transport raw materials and products. It enables an integrated and seamless flow from raw material procurement, product production, to product delivery, which plays a significant role in facilitating the operation of the Fuxin coal-to-natural gas project and holds practical importance; it lays a solid foundation for achieving the goal of producing natural gas at an early date.
