The hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid plants for Yankuang Lunan’s 300,000 tons/year caprolactam project have completed construction. Author/Source: China 16th Construction Group. On July 25, an important milestone was reached for the hydrogen peroxide plant and the sulfuric acid plant of this project, which is being built by the Fifth Branch Company; these plants were successfully completed. The commissioning of this project marks the full entry of both units into the feeding and startup phase. The owner fully recognized the hard work and meticulous organization of the project team. It is reported that the 300,000 tons per year caprolactam project at Yankuang Lunan is equipped with a 320,000 tons per year hydrogen peroxide production facility and a 400,000 tons per year sulfuric acid production facility. Since May, it has passed the pre-commissioning safety review process involving the “three inspections and four determinations,” thus successfully meeting the scheduled milestones.
