At present, the installation work for the project has been largely completed; the circulating water system is already in operation, medium-pressure steam is undergoing purging procedures, and the nitric acid production unit is under maintenance. The hydraulic testing of the plant’s systems has been completed, as well as the individual tests of the motors. After heating up, the water circulation system will be put into use. It is expected that the plant and the nitric acid production unit will commence trial operation on November 30 and December 15, respectively. The construction of the Phase 4 technical upgrade project for China Coal Pingshu Pingan is located in the Pinglu Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. It uses liquid ammonia supplied by the low-quality coal processing project as raw material to produce porous **. The production facilities include a 150,000 t/a nitric acid plant, an 180,000 t/a *ao acid an plant, along with supporting utility systems.
