It is located in the Guapo Fine Chemical Industrial Park within the Huazhou District Industrial Park, and is currently divided into four production sites: the coal chemical plant site, the fertilizer plant site, the compound fertilizer plant site, and the BDO plant site. Its main products include synthetic ammonia, urea, phosphate ammonium, 1,4-butanol, poly**furan, etc. The \"Urea Production Process Improvement Project\" is an important initiative taken by Shaanxi Chemical Group as part of its efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency, and to promote high-quality development of the enterprise, in line with the strategic goals related to carbon neutrality, by seizing market opportunities and policy advantages. On May 6, Shaanxi Chemical Group held a meeting to kick off the design work for the project aimed at upgrading the equipment in the urea production process. At the design kickoff meeting, the Department of Scientific and Technological Development provided an update on the overall progress of the project. The design firm, Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., explained the progress made so far in the project design phase. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on aspects such as the design foundations, preliminary plans, project implementation timeline, assessment of starting conditions, and implementation strategies, thereby clarifying the overall requirements for the project design as well as the tasks that should be carried out first. Location: Within the premises of Shaanxi Shenhua Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Guapo Town, Huazhou District, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Project investment: The total investment for this project is 680 million yuan, of which 8.085 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures, accounting for 1.19% of the total investment. Construction details: A 400,000-ton/year production line for large-grained urea will be built within the fertilizer factory complex of Shaanxi Shenhua Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (Once the 400,000-ton/year large-grained urea production line starts operating, the existing 130,000-ton/year and 270,000-ton/year urea production units in the fertilizer factory complex will be dismantled). The project components include the main structure, auxiliary works, utility systems, storage and transportation facilities, and environmental protection measures.
