To enhance equipment management capabilities and promote the informatization and automation of such management, after half a year of communication, discussions, research, investigations, and module planning, the equipment management system is now ready for use. On May 27, the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Technology Department organized a launch meeting for the equipment management system. Qin Kexue, the company’s vice general manager, as well as the leaders in charge of the Technical Engineering Department and various production and operation centers, along with technical staff, attended the meeting. The successful holding of this meeting marks the official launch of the equipment management system for trial operation, representing another solid step forward in the company’s efforts to standardize equipment management and strive for excellence. It is understood that the company’s equipment management system currently consists of 12 modules, covering full-life-cycle equipment management, equipment operation and maintenance management, equipment operation management, comprehensive equipment management, equipment lubrication management, management of special equipment, management of tools and equipment, management of measuring instruments, fixed asset management, management of spare parts, management of recycling used items, and management related to domestic production. Qin Kexue emphasized at the meeting that the equipment management system involves various aspects such as personnel, spare parts, quality supervision of maintenance work, and document processing; the interrelated processes are complex, and all relevant departments must raise their awareness and take more proactive action. First, it is necessary to aim for the efficient operation of the equipment throughout its entire lifecycle, and to ensure the widespread adoption of the system ; Secondly, it is necessary to continuously improve the system and address any deficiencies, with the core idea and ultimate goal of enhancing the overall efficiency of equipment operation ; Thirdly, it is necessary to benchmark against industry leaders in order to develop a customized equipment management system that best suits the company’s current equipment management practices, thereby advancing the automation of equipment management and meeting the demands of high-level production more effectively. The meeting provided a functional introduction and operational demonstration of the equipment management system, outlined an overall plan for its deployment and operation, and put forward relevant requirements for testing.
