Building on the existing two 300,000 tons per year acetic acid production units, upgrades have been carried out to the reaction system, catalyst system, and exhaust gas recovery processes by replacing reactors, adding new heat exchangers, absorption towers, and transfer pumps, as well as changing the method of mixing the materials, thereby increasing the production capacity from 600,000 tons per year to 1,000,000 tons per year.
