Author/Source: Zhonghe Gasification Date: 2020-04-17 Clicks: 15 Recently, the Clean Energy R&D Integration Center project of China Science Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhonghe Gasification”) was officially approved by the Management Committee of Anhui Chaohu Economic Development Zone, and a project investment cooperation agreement has now been signed. This project is an important measure taken by Sino-Hydrate to promote scientific and technological innovation, expand industrial opportunities, and strengthen the real economy; it holds great significance for the company to further refine its industrial structure and enhance its core competitiveness. The Clean Energy R&D Integration Center project covers a planned land area of 66.56 mu. It is intended to become an industrial park that will include a R&D center, production workshops, laboratory facilities, a control room for the experimental base, as well as office and auxiliary buildings. The total planned construction area is around 59,700 square meters, with a total investment of over 300 million yuan; the construction period is estimated to be about 18 months. Upon completion, the project will establish a comprehensive production and research facility centered on \"gasification technology\" and \"environmentally friendly technologies for the disposal of solid and hazardous waste\". This facility will incorporate cutting-edge technology research, verification of key achievements, production of patented equipment and products, professional technical training, as well as online maintenance services for users. The R&D integration center is expected to come online in 2021; by then, together with the North China production facility of Zhonghe Gasification, it will form a production network that covers the entire country. Zhonghe Gasification will make full use of the geographical advantages of both the R&D center and the production facilities to achieve centralized and large-scale production, thereby improving production efficiency and product quality, reducing operational and service costs, enhancing the capacity and efficiency of these facilities to serve surrounding areas, shortening delivery times, and increasing Zhonghe Gasification’s share and influence in the clean energy and environmental protection markets. North China Production Base: In March, the North China Production Base resumed operations. The equipment components for the projects in Jiangsu and Shanxi were shipped out one after another, providing the necessary hardware support to ensure the orderly progress of the construction of key Zhonghe Gasification projects. Building an integrated production and research center is a key step in the industrial structure upgrading of Zhonghe Gasification. With this significant investment, Zhonghe Gasification will enter a new stage of development centered on gasification technologies and environmental protection technologies for the disposal of solid and hazardous waste. Once completed, the R&D center will facilitate a deep integration of research and development innovation with manufacturing, make full use of existing resources, advance the transformation of core technologies, leverage patent advantages, and rapidly enhance overall production capacity and scale ； Expand the company’s industrial chain, promote industrial clustering and integrated development of upstream and downstream sectors, achieve a comprehensive layout across the entire industry chain, and enhance its competitiveness ； Further enhance the company’s capabilities in basic research and technological innovation, optimize resource allocation, stabilize the core of the industrial chain, and strengthen the internal driving forces for the sustainable development of Zhonghe Gasification.
