On July 23, the unloading and delivery of the #1 methanol-poor coolant unit for the purification system was completed successfully for the first phase of this project, which has a capacity of 1.2 million tons/year for ethylene glycol production; now the purification unit is about to enter the equipment installation stage. The specifications of the 1# lean methanol cooler are φ2200*16200 mm, with a total weight of 74.5 tons. This equipment is by far the largest in size and heaviest in weight among those that have been delivered so far. Unloading it was carried out using a 130-ton truck crane and an 80-ton truck crane working together. Professional technicians provided full-process supervision regarding aspects such as the route for equipment entry, on-site unloading, selection of crane locations, on-site safety warnings, and optimization of unloading plans.
