On April 27, the company held a ceremony to mark the start of operations of the gasification unit in its gasification center. Yang Baojiang, the company’s deputy general manager, attended the ceremony. At the launch ceremony, Yang Baojiang put forward four requirements for the construction and supervision units regarding the project development: first, to strengthen management, plan carefully, make thorough arrangements, and go all out to ensure the successful completion of the construction work. Second, strict attention must be paid to safety; the responsibilities related to safety management must be fully fulfilled, and the requirements of “three emphases and one implementation” must be strictly adhered to. Third, it is necessary to ensure project quality and progress; while maintaining safety and quality standards, efforts should be made to advance the construction of projects at a high standard and with high quality. Fourth, it is necessary to standardize the handover of documents, strengthen communication and coordination, and carry out the transfer of various documents with a strong sense of responsibility. Yang Baojiang hopes that the property owners, supervisors, and contractors will adhere to the principle of being one family with a shared heart, goal, and determination, maintaining close cooperation and mutual support at all times. By communicating more, complaining less, providing more guidance, and offering fewer criticisms, they can work together to ensure the smooth and rapid progress of the project. Sinopec Fourth Company, the contractor, and Beijing Jinhaibay Supervision Company stated that they would do their utmost to fulfill their responsibilities, carry out their duties properly, maintain strict quality control, and aim for safe, stable, long-term, full-capacity, and high-quality operation, so as to ensure that the plant’s commissioning and startup are successful on the first attempt. Project Overview: The construction and installation work in the gasification area mainly involves pressurized gasification, gasification slag removal, shift cooling, coal lock gas compression, gasification circulating water systems, deaeration stations, rainwater and sewage pumping stations, 66kV substations, cabinet rooms, as well as all construction work related to these facilities. It also includes the installation of various pipelines, equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation, along with support tasks for commissioning the systems. It also includes the construction of unfinished work such as civil engineering, installation, and commissioning for anti-corrosion, insulation, HVAC, fire protection, water supply and drainage, road and site hardening, as well as lighting systems. The workload is substantial, involving multiple overlapping tasks, and the handover of the gasification unit is expected to be completed by October 30.
