All parties stated that they would leverage the strengths of their respective companies, intensify their efforts, and enhance communication and coordination in order to ensure that the project is implemented as soon as possible and can deliver its benefits. At the same time, focusing closely on the goal of turning Lijiang into a \"world-renowned city for culture and tourism, a model area for rural revitalization, and an important ecological security barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,\" the region will leverage cooperation in the areas of hydrogen production through water electrolysis and the application of hydrogen energy to strengthen collaboration in the clean energy sector. It will also promote the development of green energy industries such as the \"water, wind, solar, and storage\" integrated projects in Lijiang, aiming to turn this area into a pilot zone for \"new energy + green hydrogen\" and comprehensive hydrogen energy applications in Yunnan Province, thereby contributing to the implementation of Yunnan’s actions plan for achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Fan Yilin, Chairman of China Three Gorges Yunnan Energy Investment Co., Ltd., pointed out that the signing of this agreement marks the beginning of research on the application of hydrogen energy in Lijiang, laying a foundation for the entire hydrogen energy industry chain. Three Gorges Group will leverage its technical advantages in hydrogen production, and in accordance with the plans set by the Lijiang Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, it will contribute to the development of hydrogen energy industry in Lijiang. Yang Huiming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinopec Yunnan Branch, said that the signing of the agreement marks a new chapter in the cooperation between Sinopec Yunnan Branch and Lijiang. She hopes to strengthen cooperation with Lijiang, striving to have Yunnan’s first hydrogen refueling station built there within this year, so as to work together toward the green and low-carbon development of Yunnan’s economy and society, as well as to promote the low-carbon, safe, and efficient use of energy. Song Honglin, vice chairman of Yunnan Provincial Transportation Investment and Construction Group Co., Ltd., said that the signing of the agreement represents an opportunity to deepen cooperation, and he hopes that this signing will serve as a catalyst for further enhancing exchanges and collaboration in the fields of transportation, mineral resources, and energy development. Su Yongzhong, mayor of Lijiang City, noted that Lijiang boasts a rich cultural heritage, abundant tourism and biological resources, as well as significant green energy resources. The region is rich in hydroelectric, wind, and photovoltaic energy resources, making it an important clean energy hub in Yunnan Province. All parties should take this signing as an opportunity to carry out multi-level and multi-sectoral exchanges and cooperation.
